There are money betting rounds in the game of Poker into what is called a “pot”, as well as rounds of getting and replacing cards. Depending on the version of the game of Poker selected to play poker online by the player the betting rounds’ number will vary. Action ensues by way of clockwise direction.
Generally the players can ante or they can put up blind bets in the “pot”. After cards are dealt to the players by the dealer a betting round follows at the end of which there is to be equal contribution by all players towards the “pot”.
The rules for online poker betting are classified into 3 divided into three categories. They are

d. Raise: The player can escalate the bet on the table, by raising.
e. Fold: the player surrenders his or her cards by choosing not to match up with the tabled bet and loses the opportunity to win the “pot”.
On completion of rounds of betting as well as dealing of cards the Showdown by players takes place and the winner is the player with the highest hand.
