Be faithful to your strategy: After you have developed a strategy, use it religiously in every online poker game you play. Base your strategy on things that you know you are good at, and not what you think might win you more games. They have been playing for quite sometime and some of their strategies are bound to be complex, even if they are very good. As a beginner, you must never try to follow their game plans. Rely on techniques that you are good at. Bluffing might be a good strategy to win, but in case you are not good at it and your opponents see through you bluffs, stop immediately. Keep your strategy elastic: Even though it is important to stick to your strategy every time you play an online poker game, you must be ready to improvise every time you feel it you game demands it. You do not have to completely revamp your entire plans, but just be sure to fine tune it as and when you feel it necessary.
A strategy built for success: An online poker strategy must be built for success. Every amateur online poker player should have a strategy going if he aims to make it big. Of course, there is no guarantee that you will succeed in your initial attempts. But it can be safely said you always stand a better chance if you are following a game plan while playing. If you begin playing without a strategy, you will invariably go back to square one sooner than later.
