The game is quite like Texas Hold’em poker. Here the players receive 4 cards each. The player on the left of the dealer places small blind the person next to him/her places big blind. The next person starts the game with betting.
Three cards are opened on the center of the table called Flop. Another round of betting begins. The next card to open in the center is called the Turn which is another round of betting. The last card to open is called River. These are community cards and every player can use these cards to make a five card hand to win. The player has to use at least two cards from the hand to make winning cards.

You have to be sharp and careful when you when to bluff and if the bluff will lead you to win the game. In this game there are total nine cards – four in hand and five on the table. So there is large number of possibilities. Also one has to see how many players are still playing before bluffing. In this game if you bluff intelligently you will have more wins than you can have with a best hand.

If you manage to use the bluffing strategy properly it will discourage some players to fold their hands. Another advantage is that if there are more betting the pot also gets bigger. The problem with this strategy is that if your opponent has a very good hand the person will keep betting till the end and in this situation you can stand to lose a lot of money.

Another omaha strategy is to know when to fold. If you decide to fold at the end when the river card is being opened on the table, you have already spent a lot by playing the previous rounds. If you do not fold and play till the end, then too you lose if you have a weak hand. So the best time to decide is the beginning of the game. If you want to fold you should do it at the beginning. You should not play with less than a pair or three of a kind. Since you have four cards in your hand, the probability of others having high cards is quite normal.
